Likes and Dislikes:

This doesn't encompass every interest and dislike I have. You can take a sensible guess that I am indeed a huge fan and advocate of oxygen, for instance.

Likes:

Music:
Huge fan of Owl City. I like Adam Young's voice and his musical style. He has other great songs besides just Fireflies, such as Fuzzy Blue Lights, Meteor Shower, and New York City. Every other band has maybe one or two songs of theirs that I like.

In terms of genre, Power Pop.

Movies and Shows:
I've watched most of the 80s and 90s classics, and I'm familar with shows of the 2000s.

Video games:
I don't find video games enjoyable, I find them to be boring incredibly quick after the first level. Video game consoles are e-waste. I do make an exception for The Coffin of Andy and Leyley, but to me that game is more like an interactive novel than an actual game.

Books:
Fictional books: Neal Shusterman's Dry.
Non fictional books: The Lucifer Principle.

Places:
I like going to cemeteries because, much like parks, trees and grass are plentiful, and they are also very private, as few people tend to visit cemeteries compared to parks.

Misc:
Sleep - This gets a mention because I used to think watching YouTube videos at the expense of sleep was a good decision, but I don't anymore.

Dislikes:

I dislike the usual, but here are some things I dislike so much I even have went as far as to explain why

Dynamic web pages - Dynamic websites often include unnecessary features, which can cause the site to break easily. I'm convinced this is done on purpose to incentivise users to use the mobile application instead. The opposite is called a static website, an example is this website, it's very simple and uses no Javascript, because all the cool kids avoid Javascript.

School - As former top-achieving student myself (I have to say this in case anyone thinks I'm seething about academic failure), school is the biggest scam, and I'm convinced a lot of "teenage angst" we see is because of how much time school sucks out of their day, including homework so naturally this has a negative psychological effect on them. Please read Digger's article here, he explains it better than I could.

News - Someone who has spent three years of their life and is in 5-6 figure debt getting a degree in journalism isn't going to tell you something you should know out of fear of losing their job and being blacklisted from the industry. You don't need to know what silly thing the US president said or did, or how a factory in a third-world country collapsed, killing a few people. If an event is really important to you, you'll find out about it naturally. When did the news last share something positive? I can't recall, except for headlines like "UK ECONOMY GREW BY 0.01%! RECESSION AVERTED!" after months of being told it was shrinking by 5% each month. No wonder depression is increasing among the general public. Also, the news is a friend of the terrorists, since they fulfil the part of spreading their message to the wider public.

Video game consoles - Massive e-waste. Handicapped devices designed only to play video games and watch movies. In the past, they used to have a few advantages, for example, playing a game as soon as you pop in the disc, but nowadays even that requires a 30GB Day One patch/update. I'm not a fan of games, but if you are going to play games, read this article as to why PC is better.

Snoring - This demographic can annoy people even when they're asleep, it's almost unbelievable. Yes, I've had a few experiences where I couldn't sleep because of snoring neighbours, hence the distress. Earplugs are useful here, but still, what a crazy demographic. No hate to the snoring community, though. I know, it's not your fault, you're perfect the way you are.

Ripped Jeans - You have holes around the knee areas. What are you implying exactly? You get down on your knees a lot? Why? You're clearly not a mechanic. Think about it.
